Open-air ceremony with rows of white chairs beneath a timber canopy

Weddings

Your day, from the avenue to the morning after.

A wedding here is not a room hired by the hour, but a sequence: every moment has its place, and all the places lie a few steps apart. On that day, the estate is yours — with everything that belongs to it.

  1. The old linden avenue leading to the estate

    The Arrival

The linden avenue takes the hurry out of every journey. A hundred metres of shade and light, then the courtyard opens — and your guests know this day will be different.

  2. Arched window of the villa with a view of fountain and park

    Getting Ready

The villa is quiet. Morning light in the salon, your closest people around you, the photographer waiting downstairs — and through the arched window, the first guests arriving.

  3. Ceremony in the brick vault with guests

    The Ceremony

In the park, beneath old trees — or a civil wedding in the brick vault of the stables: one of the rarest registry offices in the country, with only six dates a year.

  4. Garden pavilion with fountain in the park

    The Aperitif

While the portraits are taken, the celebration gathers in the garden: champagne by the pavilion, sun on the gravel, the first speeches that were never meant to be speeches.

  5. Festively set wedding tables in the barn

    The Dinner

Long tables beneath old beams, candlelight, a menu that takes the region seriously. Riding hall or barn: the room carries the evening without ever pushing forward.

  6. Bar built from an antique door, bartenders at work

    The Night

The bar in the barn opens, the music rises, and whoever needs air finds fire bowls and stars. On your own grounds, the night ends when you decide.

  7. Set table in warm light, detail

    The Morning After

Brunch in the old schoolhouse, coffee in the courtyard, the stories of last night. A celebration that lasts a weekend takes its leave slowly — the way it came.

Why celebrate only one day?

The most beautiful weddings here run from Friday to Sunday: a welcome evening with a kitchen party in the old schoolhouse, the great day itself, a long brunch. The villa houses the closest family, and the estate remains yours throughout — no hurried build-ups, no other parties next door.

And because some promises are rare, we say it plainly: civil ceremonies on the estate happen on six dates a year. If you want to say yes in the vault, talk to us early.

No detail is too small, no wish too unusual. We host only one celebration on any given day — yours.
Thorsten Schmutz · Host

Good counsel comes with the house: we accompany you from the first viewing to the seating plan, recommend partners who know the estate — and on the day itself we stay within calling distance, never in the picture.

Tell us about your day — we reply personally.
