The long brick façade of the historic stables with a fountain in the gravel courtyard

The Estate

The Stables

Brick of 1898, built for three hundred horses — restored for the next hundred years.

Five stables the war ministry built in 1898 for its remounts, and it built them the way a kingdom builds: brick for the centuries, windows in strict rhythm, gables bearing the monogram. The restoration changed none of it — it merely, carefully, brought in power, warmth and quiet.

Today the stables are the architectural backbone of the estate. Ceremonies are held in the vault — including civil weddings, on six dates a year, which makes this one of the rarest registry offices in the country. Outside: the gravel courtyard with its fountain, where the champagne reception finds its natural place.

Run your fingertips along the brick and you are touching 1898. There are backdrops you can rent — and places you inherit. This one is lent to you, for a day.
